About Hostel Achalay

The 'Albergue Patagonia Andina', was the first hostel in town and has over 10 years of experience, keeping its original style, relaxed atmosphere and tradition.

Over this time we have learnt the importance of advising and offerring our guests all the necessary information needed to choose their itinerary during their stay in Bariloche.

Our guests come here to enjoy all the activities (rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain bike, paragliding, trekking, climbing, fishing, skiing, etc.) our area has to offer.

The four bathrooms, (two upstairs and two downstairs), are all fully furnished and have hot water 24 hours a day.

The living room/dining room has a large table for dining, playing cards or planning your next excursion, a television with cable in a comfortable, cushioned corner, a stereo and a fireplace (complete with firewood) to be enjoyed while resting on comfortable couches.

There is also a library and book swap. Sheets and towels are included in the price. Since it was founded, our hostel has been run by and looked after by the owners to ensure your maximum comfort and enjoyment.
