Please note that Shiplake hostel is near a town called Dunmanway which is 35 miles outside Cork City.

Stay in a charming traditional stonebuilt farmhouse or in one of the romantic gypsy barrel-top caravans, 60'sretro caravan or funky Yurt.
Caravans and Yurt are all heated and have full use of hostel facilities.
As well as the 6 bed dorm room in the farmhouse hostel we have a family room (sleeps 4+) E60/E70 and a double room in the stone cottage E50

Nestled in a superb setting on the foothills of the Shehy Mountains just 30 km from the south-west coast. Our hostel is a peaceful and relaxing haven for singles,couples and families alike.
Find the great variety of natural and historical treasures this off-the beaten-track countryside generously offers.
Enjoy a true paradise for walkers,a gentle challenge for cyclists or the splendid views over the coastline on one of the mountain hikes that we will direct you on. Recover afterwards in front of the wood burning stove in a friendly and homely atmosphere.
We have delicious home cooked food available and a small cafe and grocery shop on site.
