About Hotel Wakamiya

Located in between Higashi Honganji Temple and Nishi Honganji temple in a quiet surrounding, Hotel Wakamiya is a cozy Japanese-style inn with a homey atmosphere.

It is about 7 minutes walk from the JR Kyoto Station. All of the guest rooms are Japanese-style with tatami mats. The public bath is on the 7th floor where you can command the view of the city.

All rooms are ensuite and air-conditioned with a TV, safety box and a fridge.

Room amenities include a toothbrush, shampoo, soap, razor and a yukata(light cotton kimono).
Wakamiya is a sister hotel of Sanoya Hotel.

Go straight down the Horikawa dori and turn right at Nanajo dori. It is on your left after passing the Nishinotoin dori. It is located in between Higashi Honganji Temple and Nishi Honganji Temple.It is also about 3 minutes by taxi from the station.
