About Auberge Africa Thiossane

Africa Thiossane is a friendly hostel located in Grand M'Bour along the "Petite Cote"; 80 kms south from Dakar. Grand M'Bour is a quite borough lying between tourist-frequented Saly and lively M'Bour. It's a good starting point for lots of excursions.
Africa Thiossane is a family-run hostel managed by a friendly Senegalese staff welcoming you with well-disposed and good-hearted service, which gives you the possibility to get to know the real Senegalese way of living. Africa Thiossane is only 5 minutes ride to the sea front and to a wonderful fine sand beach

Accomodation:
Laid over 2 floors

8 private rooms, equipped with ceiling mosquito netting, fan and e roomy wardrobe. Each room has a private bathroom and a balcony furnished with chairs and a small table

On the second floor sight-seeing bar/restaurant

In the garden among flowers and trees bar service and in the night live music

Breakfast included, linen included, lugguage storage, 24 hours reception, internet service

The restaurant offers African dishes of fish, meat and vegetables and arranges fish and meat grills

Africa Thiossane is also a Cultural Centre which developes several responsible tourism projects.
In collaboration with the Africa Thiossane Cultural Centre it is possible to participate in several activities that are led by the Centre teachers :

Labs for batik dyeing
Labs for wood sculpturing
Labs for glass painting
Labs for composing sand paintings
Labs for composing display props from recycled materials

In the neighbourhood possibility of practicing: horse riding, golf and tennis, sea-fishing by pirogue
