Welcome to Centre Charles Peguy, outstandingly located in the very heart of Amboise, at the western extremity of the Ile d'Or (an island right in the middle of the River Loire).

The Centre offers unequalled access to a host of treasures of the rich heritage of the Loire Valley as regards history, culture and environment.
Our Hostel is walking distance from everything: the Chateau Royal d'Amboise, which used to be the residence of French kings, the Clos Luce manor house where Leonardo da Vinci spent the very last years of his life, the banks of the River Loire, which is the last truly wild river in Europe, with its specific ecosystem, the former embankments of the river port...
