About NSTS Campus Residence and Hostel

Campus Residence and Hostel is located on the Gzira/Msida border, adjacent to the University of Malta sports complex perimeter, and within 10/15 minutes by public transport to the capital city of Valletta, the island's main bus station, the shopping tourist town of Sliema and the nightlife hub of bars, restaurants, clubs and casino extravaganza of St. Julians.

A friendly atmosphere among staff and residents are top characteristics. Its young environment for the under thirty-fives makes the hostel the ideal place for budget backpackers, independent travellers and students alike! Discount student rates apply for long lets of over 12 weeks.

Campus Residence and Hostel was built in the early seventies as a number of 2 bedroom apartments that share a common bathroom, lounge/dinning/kitchenette with a specious balcony that overlooks the extensive university sports grounds or the large pleasantly sunny rear pool terrace and deck. Each bedroom is independently locking and contains a maximum of 3 beds, at times using bunk-beds. It retains its original bathrooms and furniture and has its own charm going back in times, but these are threatened with imminent refurbishment.

Sheets, pillow covers, towels and their changing are included as is room cleaning twice a week. You may reserve an entire apartment or a room, or simply a bed and share with new friends, knowing beforehand that your bathroom and common areas will be in use by others on your arrival.

When there you will be asked to respect your apartment co-inhabitants and keep the bathroom and kitchen area clean after you use them.

An information and help desk is available in the weekday mornings only while an emergency contact number is available at all other times. Check in time is after 2pm and check out time is by 10am. You must always e-mail itasi@nsts.org with your arrival flight number and time of arrival at least 24 hours in advance to be met at the Campus door. You may also request an airport transfer service up to 72 hours in advance.

The closest bus stop to/from Valletta main bus station is located within 5 minutes walking distance as is the weekend all night service to/from St. Julians. The bus stop to/from the Sliema shopping centre, the Campus private beach club, St Julian's and to St. George's Bay sandy beach is some 10 minutes away on foot.
