About El Jardin

Centrally located in the heart of Merida`s historical center, El Jardin is located just 3 short blocks from the main Zocalo, Merida`s Centro Historico. We are 2 blocks from the ever popular and lovely Santiago plaza, park , church and mercado where evrything a traveler might need or desire is available. There are many food stations at the mercado proudly serving the best of Yucatan´s famous regional cuisine from normally 7am to midnight, 7 days per week.

There are supermarkets, convenience stores , farmacies, bakeries, and even a movie theater, practically at your door step! Also, very nearby are two of Merida`s most famous restaurants, Frida´s and Villa Maria for your convenience and fine dining pleasure.

The ambiance of El Jardin, as described by our many repeat guests, is like an oasis, a peaceful refuge where one feels far from the excitement and activity of the city center although conveniently that´s exactly where we are! ¨Behind the walls¨, you can refresh and rejuvinate while passing time alone relaxing or enjoying a conversation or a meal with other friendly travelers.
