About Sillarnegro Lodging

The Sillarnegro (Black Volcanic Stone) is a great property to stay in the heart of Arequipa along your travels in Southern Peru. It includes a kitchen, bar, internet, and an open courtyard patio to relax during your travels. It has laundry facilities for 5 soles-kilo. We have information and do organized adventure tours, such as trekking the high sierra, extreme-downhill biking Misti and Chachani volcanoes that overlook Arequipa. Beds from $5 USD. It is the best option to drink a beer in pajamas!

The Sillarnegro is located on the corner of 119 Cruz Verde St. and Bolognesi St., two blocks from the main square, the Plaza de Armas. 10-12 minutes from the bus terminal via taxi. 20-25 minutes from the airport via taxi.

Please make sure to have persistence in confirming your destination with the taxi driver because often taxi drivers take commissions for other properties as you already may know. For example, some taxi drivers in Arequipa might say that the Sillarnegro is dangerous, far away, closed down, …etc. None of this is true! We have a beautiful, clean, distinctively Arequipenan, relaxing room for you in the heart of Arequipa. And if you have a reservation we'll have a bed for you.

Please take care, as you may already know, the taxis are the most sure when recommended from a policeman-women. We are open 24 hours. Safe travels :)

We also offer you excellent tours.

Trekking Colca Canyon 3 days 2 night
