About Hostal de la Barra
At Hostal de la Barra we can proudly tell you that we have the best location in the city. We are in the middle of Jose Miguel de la Barra, a 3 blocks street which is actually the coolest place to live in Santiago, and the HDLB is part of a 60 years old French style building in a neighborhood full of life and history.
We have one block to Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the main one in the country, 3 blocks to a must see, Museo de Arte Precolombino, one block to Cerro Santa Lucia where the city was founded in February 12th, 1541, 5 minutes walking to the civic center and 7 minutes walking to Barrio Bellavista, the center of bohemia, a place full of night life, restaurants, live music and where Pablo Neruda's house has been transformed into a museum you can visit. If that is not enough location for you, we have one floor to Cafe de la Barra, one of the best cafe in the city where your included breakfast can be served. By the way, 20 seconds walking to the subway station Bellas Artes!
