About Villa Town Gate

Villa Town Gate Hvar combines the natural stone facade, modern interior design and unique central position in the very heart of Hvar old town.
If you wish to experience the atmosphere of medieval Hvar town and to be in the middle of every event, Villa Town Gate Hvar is the ideal place for you.

Our Villa is located in the very center of the old Hvar town, a few paces from the old "Town Gate" and just 20 meters from the town square. The 15th century city walls enclosing the old part of the town have 4 gates, and this is the Main gate (Porta maestra) because it leads from the square to the aristocratic part of the city and towards the fortress. Once you pass the gate, our Villa is the first on the right and it is situated on a tiny street visited during the history by artists and poets searching for their inspiration.
