About Sikaso Beach

Our objective is to make our guests feel very much at home away from home.

The comfort and security of our guests is our prime concern at Sikaso Hostel, our guests feel the warmth of the Ghanaian family life, experience the culture and social life of Ghanaian and get to learn more about Ghana and its people.

Ours is very different from the stereotyped anonymity of traditional hotels and hostels.
Bortianor is direct at the Atlantic Ocean towards the western part of Accra. The Hostel is only 5 meters off the Kokrobite main Road, which is a commercial street with an active nightlife.

The stores, nightclubs and street-side vendors on the road operate well into the night. There are tailors and dressmakers who make custom clothes of any African design at short notice. Orders from the hostel guests always get priority. Transportation to any part of Accra is possible.

Our aim is to provide visitors to Accra a safe, secured and comfortable home at affordable rates.

THE ATLANTIC OCEAN IS JUST IN FRONT OF THE HOSTEL

The Hostel has a big compound with shade trees and rooftop balcony for easy relaxation in the cool breeze of the tropical weather.

There are ten rooms made of four single rooms, four double rooms and two female dormitories. Every room has its own toilet and shower. Ceiling or Standing Fans cool the rooms and the windows and door are fitted with mosquito-proof mesh. In addition, we provide treated mosquito nets to every bed. We have a kitchen that serves breakfast and supper of both continental and local dishes at affordable prices. There are kitchen facilities for guests who would like to prepare own meals

GROUP BOOKINGS
Our double rooms are very large and we have the capacity to convert them into dormitories to accommodate up to four people comfortably.

STORAGE FACILITY
We provide storage for guests' excess baggage to enable them travel light on their tour of Ghana. This facility is FREE for guests who stay with us for at least five days.

TRANSPORTATION
The house is only 3 meters from the main transport station. There are buses, taxis and 'trotro' to any part of the city.

AIRPORT PICKUP
We shall pick you up from the airport if we know of your flight arrangements. We charge a token fee of $20.00

VOLUNTARY WORK PLACEMENTS
We arrange short and long term placements for anybody of any age who would like to volunteer in Ghana. We can arrange placement into any field of choice, e.g. to work with children in orphanages and day care centers, teaching in first and second cycle schools, etc. Check our NGO website www.ara-ghana.de
