About 1770 Beachside Backpacker

Beachside Backpacker 1770 is a brand new friendly hostel, 200 METRES from Queensland's most northern surf beach and minutes away from the shops and town center. The tours here offered by the local operators are excellent and very affordable to backpackers. People are blown away by the beauty of this area, the friendliness of the locals and the prices of the activities. This town is an absolute must for travellers!
Our hostel has 40 beds located in a brand new building. Each 4 to 8 bed dorm has air-conditioning and a private bathroom. The kitchen is open for 24 hours and is always clean and well equipped!The entertainment area offers comfy couches, bean bags and hammocks, everything travelers need to chill out and just do nothing than relax.
Beachside Backpacker 1770 includes a wireless Internet cafe, FREE Laundry, FREE Bikes, a FREE local tour and FREE Pick ups from the Bus stop. We are also building a Yoga center at the moment where we offer daily Yoga classes for everyone who is interested.
The beach is that close you can even hear the waves rolling and feel the sea breeze from your room! The beach is stunningly beautiful and it is very safe to swim.
If you don't feel like getting salty you can always refresh yourself in our private swimming pool.
