About Pineapple Park Hilo

Pineapple Park Hilo is a newly renovated and well maintained hostel that offers guests the flexibility of short term or long term accommodations.

Pineapple Park Hilo is conveniently located just minutes and within walking distance from Hilo International Airport. We are conveniently located one mile from the farmers market, bus terminal, and picturesque old Hilo on the north, one half mile from the beach at Coconut Island and beautiful Banyan Drive, and one mile from the Prince Kuhio Mall. Just across the road is a community swimming pool, tennis courts, and near by a golf course. Our location is conveniently central to all the best spots around Hilo and for exploring the east side of the island.

If you don't plan to rent a car you can still travel around the island by taking advantage of the free island wide bus service. Pineapple Park Kona and Pineapple Park Hilo are both accessible by bus routes. Within walking distance to downtown is Mooheau Bus Terminal which is a main hub for all bus routes.

Rooms are cozy and comfortable and come equipped with cable TV with the bathroom/shower down the hall. The guests really enjoy the community kitchen, free WIFI, a grill in the patio and being able to cook their own heated food and keep it in the big commercial refrigerator. They meet and visit with travelers from all around the world. Our Hilo accommodations are comfortable, well maintained and affordable. Kayaks are available upon request.
