About Zonda Hostel

Zonda Hostel is located in the core of San Juan City. We are travellers and climbers by nature and we can advise you on any trip or adventure you wish to take in the region.

San Juan City sits by the desert in the scenic Central Andes. Several wonderful mountains surround the city: Precordillera Range to the west (1000 to 4300 m) and 'Pie de Palo' to the east. Dry lakes, alluvial plains and sand dunes cover the valleys. On a day trip you are able to reach any of those places. A little further, you can reach the Frontal and Principal Cordillera (over 6000 m), through breathtaking roads that give you unique views of white water rivers.

The most famous attraction of the Province is the 'Valle de la Luna' (Moon Valley) were the most primitive member of the 'Dinosaurs Club' was found. Visits to the park can be accomplished in two days from the city.
