Bringing budget chalet accommodation to an exclusive resort. Unique in Chamonix, we have integrated hostel-style ambience and guesthouse hospitality within a traditional alpine setting, a short walk from the centre of town. The small group of chalets in which La Source is located, were built before the surrounding forest was declared a National Park - making them the only secluded and forested Chalets this close to Chamonix town. This also gives them arguably the best views of the Mt.Blanc peaks opposite. However, La Source is the only Chalet geared for the adventurous traveller and independant backpacker, where we have direct links with the best local mountain guides and activity providers

This is a quaint and rustic chalet set for comfort, without the expense of unnecessary luxuries. The kitchen and bathroom were recently refurbished and equipped with NEW Induction stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. And you connect to our unlimited WiFi.

The communal living and dining area is furnished with a lounger, bean bags, reclining chairs and a mixture of other seating to help you relax and admire the peaks opposite. We don't have a TV! It's not the spirit of the chalet - instead there is a soundsystem you can connect your laptop or iPod to. There are plenty of books and games too. Wonderful views of the Chamonix peaks. Heated ski & boot room. BBQ & hammocks in the garden.
