About The Old Coach House

Come and stay with us at The Old Coach House, a historical homestead built in 1857 as Turakina's one and only Coach House. Located 20 minutes from Wanganui on New Zealand's beautiful Northern West Coast.

Convenient to Wanganui, Bulls and Palmerston North, Turakina is a quaint historical town with a rich heritage.

Relax in the landscaped English cottage style garden and enjoy fruit and vegetables from our veggie patch, herbs from our herb garden and eggs from our chickens!

Don't forget to say hello to our long term residents - the animals! Sebastian (our adorable Golden Retriever) will be happy to play with you whilst our cat Teddy enjoys a good rub behind his ears.
