Fun, safe & affordable, our chilled out hostel provides the best option to relax in Cusco before and after your big trek.

Southern Comfort prides itself in being the best hostel in the city for college students, backpackers, and anybody else looking to have a great time while traveling on a shoestring budget.

Our house is one of the newest constructions in Cusco with enough single rooms and dorms for up to 50 people.

The atmosphere is exciting enough to have a great night in the bar, but calm enough to get a full night's rest before that big Machu Picchu trek. Our full-menu bar is located far away from the rooms, The bar has a pool table and a flat screen TV for all the big games.

We have great lounge areas for you to hang out including a TV room with lots of DVD´s. There is a nice garden with hammocks and a beautiful view of Cusco

If you´re coming from a long bus ride or returning from a trek, Don´t worry there´s always plenty of high pressure, hot water showers available 24/7. There are private bathrooms in rooms (no stalls) and 24 hour security.

You will enjoy THE BEST GUEST KITCHEN in Cusco and a great supermarket only 2 min away. FREE ALL YOU CAN EAT PANCAKE BREAKFAST EVERYDAY!

Perfect Location:
This is a very safe and secure hostel without the hectic noise of the main plaza´s. We are only a 5 minute walk from the Qorikancha (Av El Sol) and a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas (with NO steep hills to climb!) and most of Cusco attractions.

Accommodation Information:
Our rooms are newly renovated and have large single beds with new mattresses. The rooms are cleaned three times a day and include lockers for your valuables. We have a mix of dorms, and private rooms.

-Checkout is 11am - You are welcome to leave your bags in the secure storage room if you are going on a trek to Machu Picchu or have a late bus/flight and hang around the hostel.

-Check-in is from 12pm. If you arrive very early in the morning you are welcome to watch TV and we will get the room ready as early as possible.
