Hotel Villa Gasparini is an 18th century mansion, built by the venetian nobles Gasparini. The Hotel is located in Dolo, one of the town along the Brenta river, the waterway connecting Venice to Padua,just 15 km from both cities. The river is the ideal extension of Venice onto the mainland, almost a continuation of the Grand Canal, lined with dozens of palatial villas dotting the banks of this ancient river. These country estates were the privileged holiday resorts for rich venetian nobles, and when the summer heat became oppressive in Venice the nobles would have themselves rowed across the lagoon and up the Brenta.The hotel has been painstakingly restored , retaining all the original features. Each of the 15 rooms at Hotel Villa Gasparini has been exquisitely designed and decorated and is the result of the balance between the grace and the elegance of the past and the most modern coneniences, like individually controlled air conditioning, mini bar, in room internet access, LCD television, telephone, in room safe deposit box.
