Welcome to Auberge L'Apero, a European-style hostel in North America's most European city, Montreal. Apero is the French word for aperitif - the beginning of a great meal or in this case - a great vacation.

Located in the heart of downtown, Auberge L'Apero offers you safe, comfortable accommodations just a heartbeat from the action.

With only 18 beds, we offer a cozy, personalized atmosphere on two floors of an old 1880s graystone with all the amenities you expect from a hostel, and many that you don't. The rooms are bright with hardwood floors and some interior brick walls that add an air of coziness to the Auberge. The second floor contains the reception area, the store, common rooms, and the laundry. The top floor is the residence that includes the dorms, bathroom facilities, and kitchen.

One of the features of Auberge L'Apero is our beautiful terrace where you can relax and enjoy your continental breakfast in the sunshine, or come back for an apero at the end of wonderful afternoon of sightseeing before heading out to dinner. We also feature a fully equipped kitchen, a communal TV room with free Internet and hi-speed Wi-fi access, and laundry facilities. Most importantly, there is no curfew so you will be free to explore the city and its famous (and fabulous!) nightlife to your heart's content.
