About Shiado Hostel

Central, safe and relaxing, Shiado Hostel is located in the Chiado area's heart, the cultural soul of Lisbon, a step away from the Sao Carlos Opera, the Chiado Museum and the headquarters of Companhia Nacional de Bailado.

Open in March 2009 and decorated by artists and friends, it's the ideal starting point to fall in love with Lisbon: everything is near. In our hostel you will find comfort, cleanlyness, safety and a staff always available to advise you on places to visit, night bars or restaurants.

We have a guest kitchen, free internet and wi-fi, cable tv, dvd's and all shared rooms have lockers to keep your personal affairs safe.

Our main worry is to guarantee tranquillity to our guests while in the hostel but, for those who prefer to dive into Lisbon's night, just a few steps away to breath the electric Bairro Alto's atmosphere!

And, for those who want to relax a little bit more, our neghtbours are the Portuguese Macrobiotic Institute and the Yoga Centre Gayatri: discover the opportunity to give yourself a little bit of wellbeing without going out of the door...!
