About Salvation Army Guesthouse

A charming guesthouse with fair prices in the centre of Reykjavik.

The Salvation Army would like to welcome you to our guesthouse situated close to the Icelandic parliament, the Information Centre, the main street Laugavegur, the National Museum of Iceland, Vesturbæjarlaug geothermal pool, in other words: -in the heart of Reykjavik!

• double rooms (double bed or twin beds)
• triple rooms
• four bedded rooms
• five bedded rooms
• six bedded rooms
• sleeping bag accommodation in separate dorms (Sleeping bag accommodation: bed with sheet and pillow in 4-6 bedded rooms.)

Our Service;
* Private rooms include linen, blankets, pillows, and towels.
*A kitchen with dining area is available for the guests on the second floor.
*Laundry service for our guests upon request. This costs ISK 800 (5 E)
*Continental breakfast is offered between 7.00 and 9.30 every morning. Breakfast costs ISK 800 (5 E)
The guesthouse has shared toilets and showers on every floor.

The reception is open 24 hours so guests are able to arrive and check in late at night. There are no curfews.

Check in after 14.00 the day you arrive and check out is at 12.00 on day of departure.

Guests can book day tours and acquire other information in the reception, where the staff is able to advice guests in several languages, e.g. English, Scandinavian, German, and Spanish.

Main bus lines are passing nearby the guesthouse and a variety of places are within walking distance.

The guesthouse is situated close to “10-11” grocery store, which is open 24 hours.
