The hostel “Piccola Quercia” (Little Oak), completely immersed in the green, is located in Stroncone, one of the most suggestive villages of medieval origin, at 5 minutes from Terni (10 km).
The Piccola Quercia Hostel consists of 3 floors: the ground floor is a basement that opens with the lying behind portico, with an amazing view on the typical Umbrian landscape, the 1st and 2nd floors have a comfortable living-room and rooms that can be single, double-bedded, triple and quadruple.
The rooms of the Piccola Quercia Hostel are silent and bright, each one provided with a balcony with a panoramic view and with private bathroom or placed side by side.
Furthermore there are services for hosts with handicaps.
The main characteristic of the hostel is the oak, now secular,(21 meters high), that seems to hold the house on its roots.
This is not only a place where you can relax and escape from everyday life but full of religious meaning since it is placed along the Franciscan path and it has welcomed pilgrims of each corner of the world.
This is also a place for the lovers of extreme sports and nature:
rafting, free climbing, horse riding, bungee jumping, canyoning, mountain bike and speleology are the main activities of the area.
In alternative we can organize you visits to Carsulae (the Etruscan archeological site) or hiking in the environs.
