About Casa Lagana

Casa Lagana is a large apartment, only five minutes from San Mark's Square and ten from Rialto area. A very good opportunity to live in a quiet area and at the same time to be very close to the center of the city. Around Casa Lagana you can easily find plenty of stores, restaurants and markets. This apartment can host up to 10 guests, but you can book either the entire structure or just one room (two for 4-5 people, the other one for 2 persons), each with its own bathroom.

The first part of Casa Lagana consists of a hall with free internet and computer available, of a little but well equipped kitchen, microwave, oven and toaster ,washing machine, stretch linen and iron. The corridor leads to three bedrooms with private bathrooms, two with double beds (with the possible addition of single beds) and one with two single beds. There is air conditioning and independent heating and tv.
The map of Venice has got the shape of a fish and Castello area is its tail. This district is the biggest one in the city. Very well known for its glorious Arsenal surrounded by very high walls reminding us of the “forbidden city”. There you can visit Saint Peter’s church ,ancient seat of the Patriarch, and the Giardini of the Biennale on Saint Helena’s island; you can walk along the wide Garibaldi street opened in the XIX century, filling up the canal of Castello.

How to reach us
FROM THE VENICE MARCO POLO AIROPORT:
- by private water taxi, which leaves directly from Venice Airport Marco Polo, and get off in Santa Maria Formosa

- taking the ALILAGUNA shuttle service which also travels from the airport pier and reaches Saint Mark's in about an hour. From there you meet owners (Rita or Alberto) and they will come with you the the house.

OTHER OPTION
when you arrive at the airport take a bus that takes you to Piazzale Roma in Venice. Piazzale Roma take the vaporetto(ferry-boat) line number 2

and get off at the famous Rialto Bridge. when you get off the vaporetto (ferry-boat) you have to wait in front of where the exchange office that is

located outside the vaporetto (ferry-boat). Ms. Rita will be waiting at the

exchange office that will take you to our B&B.
