The OA HERA NAMIB BACKPACKERS & CULTURAL CENTER is situated in Maltahohe, a village near the Namib desert. We have the following facilities and activities for guests: Backpackers with 5 twin rooms (2 bunk beds each), sharing bathroom and self catering kitchen option.
- Camping facilities, each unit has a private barbecue, stone table & chairs, sharing bathroom with hot water shower.
- Restaurant / cafeteria which can serve meals or snack anytime of the day, many specialties.
- African art shop with local craft section.
- Cultural activities with the local Nama community.
- Broadband internet access to stay in touch with friends, work & news.
- Picnic & resting area to have a break and stretch the legs.
The Oa Hera CENTER is an ideal choice for any daytime visit or for an overnight stay.
