About Rembrandtplein hotel
The Rembrandtplein hotel is a 17th century canal-house.
Dating back to the origin of Amsterdam itself. Originally called The dam on the Amstel river, which was later named Amsterdam by the local people.
Situated on one of the most picturesque canals in Amsterdam. In the same area where Rembrandt, one of Holland’s most famous artists, once lived.
Whom was known on a summer’s afternoon to sit, and paint some of his master-pieces on the very canal on which the hotel stands.
The hotel has since been restored, recapturing the original charm and character of days long gone.
