About HI-Mid Cape
Experience the beauty of Cape Cod's many wonders at Hostelling International-Mid Cape. Only one mile (~2km) from the sandy beaches and wondrous sunsets of Cape Cod Bay and five miles (~8km) from the unbroken expanses of the Cape Cod National Seashore. HI-Mid Cape's central location makes it the perfect starting place for any Cape Cod expedition.
Our cozy cabins are a great way to get back to nature, while the creature comforts of our large kitchen and dining area add modern convenience to the cabin's rustic charm. Shared bathrooms are located a very short walk from the cabins in the hostel's main building, to which guests have easy 24/7 access.
The hostel is in a lovely wooded setting and is conveniently located close to the town of Orleans and to the Cape Cod Rail Trail (access point 0.5 mile or ~1km from the hostel). Rock Harbor on Cape Cod Bay, several ocean beaches, and kayak rental/put-in are easily reached by bicycle. Local bus service gives hostellers access to the Salt Pond Visitor Center, Provincetown, Wellfleet, and Chatham.
Each guest must show a government issued photo ID to check-in. Guests under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Hostelling International is a non-profit membership based organization, promoting peace through hostelling since 1909. Non-members will be asked to pay a $3 non-membership fee per night upon check-in.

Cabins have only the beds in them, bathrooms are in the main building.
*Check in is between 5pm-10pm. Those with reservations are welcome to make arrangements for earlier arrival.
