A-yado GION Guest House, Kyoto, opened on 1 March 2009 in the heart of downtown Kyoto.
Our guest house is a primary choice for travelers who are looking for a clean, reasonably priced place with friendly atmosphere and a very convenient location.

Location:
In Gion - the area of our guest house - you can see beautiful traditional tea-houses and restaurants, Geishas walking in the streets and feel the atmosphere of old Kyoto. Some of the most famous sight-seeing spots like Yasaka Shrine (Yasaka-jinja), Kiyomizu Temple (Kiyomizu-dera) are also within walking distance. At the same time you will be just about 5 min. walk from the Kamo river and less than 10 min walk from the most central part of the city (Shijo-Kawaramachi) with numerous shopping malls, souvenir shops, restaurants, bars and other places for going out.

Transportation:
Bus stops, train and subway stations are just between 2 and 5 min walk from our guest house. You can also explore Kyoto by bicycle. We are offering bicycles for rent and can help you with advice for deciding on the best sight-seeing route, depending on the guest's schedule and preferences.

Office hours and Check-in:
Reception: Open between 8:00 and 21:00.
Check-in time: Between 15:00 and 20:00. Guests can come to the guest house before 15:00.

※Last check-in is at 20:00 on the day of your reservation. Please note that if we have not heard from you even after 20:00, the reservation will be cancelled.

Guest room hours of use:
Guests can use the guest room after 15：00. (We can hold your luggage if necessary but we cannot store valuables.)

Check-out time:
10:00. Please let us know in advance if you would like to lengthen your stay.

Curfew:
We do not have a curfew or lock-out time.

★Cancellation policy & charges: Please pay in full the charges for your stay upon arrival. Please note that in the case a guest does not check in and we have not received any prior notice until 20:00 on the day of the expected arrival, we will cancel the reservation.
If you wish to cancel or make changes to your reservation during your stay, please let us know two days prior to the date/s you wish to cancel or change. If we receive notice two days prior to the reservation/s being canceled, the reservation/accommodation charges you have paid will be fully refunded. However, a cancellation fee will be charged if we receive notice of cancellation on the day of the check-in or on the day before.
