Why BEBOP HOUSE?
Bebop House is a beautiful, white detached 2 story house with a private entrance just steps down a well lit alley off the main street. Easy to get to with only two turns on a short walk from Hongik Univ. / Hapjeong Metro station. All new flooring, wallpaper and paint with cool modern tiled bathrooms and a large open-air terrace for sun and leisure. Bedrooms are bright with large windows, firm mattresses, high ceilings and good cross-breezes.

If you're looking for a comfortable place with a cosy, laid-back atmosphere and a great selection of music, Bebop is the right place for you~!

Why Hongdae area?

Hongdae is an abbreviation of 'Hongik University', which is a landmark of the area. Hongdae is considered to be one of the most hip areas in Seoul. It is packed with cafes, pubs, restaurants, boutiques, clubs & art and it draws people from a wide range of backgrounds, especially university students and artists.

Some interesting events that take place in the Hongdae area:

Club Day : The last Friday of each month in Hongdae is "Club Day", a wristband-powered event which allows entry into more than a dozen clubs for the price of one. Revelers can expect long lines at popular clubs.

Sound Day : "Sound Day" is the independent music version of "Club Day" that happens on the 2nd Friday of every month.

Free Market : Every Saturday (except in winter) a "Free Market" is held in the playground opposite the university. It's a fledgling craft market of things - not "free" alas, but on sale - made by students and recent graduates. A smaller version of this market takes place on Sundays.


Who runs BEBOP HOUSE?

Bebop house is run by 3 jazzy friends in their late 20s. All 3 of us have years of experience working, studying and backpacking in oversea countries.

We came up with the idea of opening a backpackers guesthouse in Seoul with the thought that being ㅊconstantly surrounded by travelers from all over the world would keep us energized with the feeling of traveling ourselves.

We speak Korean, English, Spanish and a bit of French and consider ourselves to be quite open-minded and easygoing. We are all very much into films, music and the arts, and will be happy to provide any information we have on the music and art scenes in Seoul.
