About Night Lodge

Night lodge is situated in the heart of Hamburg, between all central amenities and attractions. It is a small hostel, providing comfortable double rooms in a relaxed yet affordable hostel environment. Our hostel is situated between Planten un Bloomen (large attractive park), Sternscahanze and the university. Dammtor train station (one of the largest stations) is a five minute walk from hostel. From Dammtor there are excellent Connections to other parts of the city including main tourist attractions, for example St Pauli, Harbour, town hall market and the inner city, all of which can also be reached by foot from our hostel.

Our house
Located between Sternschanze, the university campus and Planten un Bloomen, our flat is positioned very conveniently, it is half way between the main train station and Altona. All other districts of the city can be easily reached from this point, for example the Reeperbahn (main party area), the fish market, city centre etc, most can be reached within 10 minutes on the train. The popular area named Sternschanze is very near by, less than a ten minute walk, or 3 minutes by train.

Check in after 12pm/check out before 10am.
24 hour check in can be arranged
Reception will be open and available for all guest arrivals between 10am and 8pm, in the case that arrival is outside of these times then an alternative is possible. This involves the key being left in a safe in the reception area. In order to get the code to open the safe there will be a phone with a number to dial which will put you through to one of our operators who will have the code for you.
The reception lies just below the main entrance of the hostel, Lodgings-Hamburg is written on the door and it is just down the steps at the address of our hostel (Bundesstrasse 8). There you will be able to collect your key and bed linen.

Bed linen and towels are available for minimum 3 day bookings, otherwise there is a cost of 3E for a set (pillow case, quilt, and sheet)
Bed linen can be rented for your stay, at a cost of 3E, of course it is no problem when a guest has their own bed linen with them. Towels can also be rented for a price of either 1 or 2 euro depending on the size.
