Robinson Crusoe Island, in Fiji, is a beautiful tropical isle with a tranquil blue lagoon, fringing coral reefs, a long white sandy beach, swaying palm tress, traditional thatched Bure, soft island music, fresh tropical fruits, abundant seafood and friendly pacific islanders.

Getting there

A 45 minute coach transfer from Nadi, 20 minutes jungle river cruise then 10 minutes across the bay to the island. If you have ever read the novel Robinson Crusoe (on of the first novels ever written in the English language), then the image you all is what you get. A beautiful secluded blue lagoon, fringing coral reefs, whites sandy beach, swaying palms, thatched bures, tribal dorm, island lovo feasts and Friday the cat.

Free activities

Sunset Bonfire and Kava ceremony, reef snorkeling trips (including gear), jungle bush walk with a crazy Medicine Man to an ancient archeological sites, sea kayaks, volleyball & beach activities, coconut jewellery making, Pirates Night Club, midnight beach bonfires, South Pacific Knife dance show ( 6 times per week ) and Traditional Cultural Activities like, fish drives and crab catching , basket weaving, learn traditional dance and more.

At extra cost

Drinks from the Wreck Bar ( happy hours every night), big fish and shark dives off the outer reefs, villages visit, night an sport fishing, island massage, jet boat rides, island hoping, surf tours and big day out tour to all the local fun spot’s.

After Dark

Although Robinson Crusoe Island previously won the prestigious Lonely Planet BEST PARTY ISLAND IN FIJI title, its more of a culture party with spectacular knife and fire dancing performance three nights per week and lots of entertainment and interaction with the amazing staff at the Pirates Night club, not forgetting the midnight bonfire under a starry sky with some South Sea guitars (for those romantic fools).
