About Fuitina

La Fuitina, The Elopement, is located in a 17th century building in the heart of Palermo's historic center, and borders the open-air market of the Vucciria.

The edifice gazes out over Corso Vittorio Emanuele, one of the two most ancient roads of the city. Due to its location, it takes only a few minutes of walking to arrive at some of the most historically significant districts and monuments of the capital such as: the boardwalk of Piazza Marina, along the Sea of Foro Italico, the churches of San Domenico, San Francesco, Martorana, Casa Professa, the Cathedral, I Quatro Canti (the four songs), and Piazza Pretoria.
