Puerto Montt is a capital of Region (X), The lake district from 1000 km aprox. from Santiago the capital of Chile ( 12 hours by bus and 1.30 min by plane). In Puerto Montt there are different tourist attractions that enhance its beauty, such us the city center area with the Cathedral. the seefood market, a colorful place where one can see the daily activities of fishermen, and the handicrafts market ANGELMO, which contains a variety of products made of wool, wood, copper and lapizlazuli. Besides Puerto Montt is like as Distribution area where is the Patagonia entrance, from here you can get to everywhere in the south, as an example to Torres del Paine, Carretera Austral, osorno Volcano, Petroihue´s falls, Puerto Varas areas, Frutillar, etc.
