Small 30 bed hostel in the centre of Kilkenny City, besides all the main attractions. Beds from 15 Euro plus free breakfast.

Macgabhainns Backpackers Hostel, with the best showers in town. Is located in the heart of the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the railway and bus station. Breakfast includes cerals,toast, tea or coffee,with as much tea/coffee free all day long. Macgabhainns is a small hostel with a cool barbeque area in the garden.
We are also located near pubs with traditional Irish music and some fine restaurants that are quite inexpensive. We are just a short stroll from Kilkenny Castle. Our reception is open until 10pm for check-ins.
