Accommodation in a tranquil site in the neighborhood of Mercedes Town (Corrientes Province, Argentina), near the world famous Ibera Wetlands.The stone-made hut has two rooms, each provided with bathrooms and hot water. A Double room with the option of adding a single or a crib. And 4 single-bed equipped room.
The countryside location of the hut is excellent for birdwatchers and lovers of nature. Gauchos, cows, horses and sheep wander in the surroundings.
This is a stone made little house, in the surroundings of a typical gaucho town in the pampa's (prairies) region. We are about two hours from the World famous Ibera Marshes (Esteros del Ibera) Wildlife Refuge (a million hectares wetlands, pointed by the Ramsar convention as an Internationally Important Wetland. Anacondas, capibaras, Marsh Deer and many bird lives there. Mercedes is the main entrance of this Wild Area, the closest point with tarred road, coming from Buenos Aires (600 km north to the Capital City of the Country).
The house counts with two rooms, each one with independent restrooms, hot water, and a warm place to living, with a giant stove ('salamandra' to burn wood in winter).
One hectare place, peaceful and silent. 10 minutes from downtown, ideal for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
