Right in the heart of Amsterdam, just a stone's throw from the Royal Palace, between Dam Square and the Red Light District and only a 5 minute walk to the central train station, lies Hostel Croydon budget Amsterdam hostel rooms.

Dam Square is a two minute walk away and a great place to get your bearings. From here you can head west to Anne Frank's house, south to the Van Gogh museum and east to Rembrandt's house. There are canal tours galore, coffee shops left, right and centre and exhibits that will make your head spin.

Sandemans New Europe will take you on a free walking tour of Amsterdam which leaves from our check-in desk at 10.45 a.m. every morning. The tour takes about 3 hours and the guides speak English and Spanish.

The Dutch capital is a city like no other. Where else can you find guided tours of a red light district, Rembrandt's house, the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank's house, Tulips, 'coffee shops' and cheap beer?
