Only five minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sitges in the district of Sant Pere de Ribes lies the typical house of a South American Plantation owner from the 19th century, known as “Villa Cuadras”, now converted into a charming hotel, the “Hotel Palou”.The house was built in 1874 by Dr. Cristofol Cuadras, an “American”,as the returning colonialists from Latin America were generally known, where they had made their fortunes. These returning emigrants were known for displaying their wealth, typically by building luxury villas and decorating them with artefacts acquired in the colonies.During the restoration the original characteristics of the building were recreated as closely as possible, such as the stucco work on the ceilings, the wrought-iron work on the windows and balconies and the mosaic floor tiles.The singularity of the building´s architecture and the image of the “Americans” or”Indians” has been a source of inspiration for the hotel. Each of the rooms, indvidual in style, has been decorated according to the styles of the epoch and together with the public rooms, balconies, garden and swimming pool evoke the charming and romantic air of former times.ROOMSThe hotel has 10 rooms all of them decorated of different form, where its stay will be very cosy.We counted on 5 double rooms and 5 superior double. All has television, telephone, Internet, air conditioning/central heating, minibar, complete bath whith bathtub or shower, hair dryer, welcome products and the superior doubles in addition count on period bathtub, or jacuzzi, dressing room and terrace with views of the garden.There are any rooms whith views of the sea.SERVICESDining room where our clients have breakfast and can eat or have supper by order. In him anniversaries can be made celebrations (, weddings, comuniones...) or eaten of businesses, with capacity for 24 people.Room of meetings where work meetings are made, formation courses, seminaries... The room of 21m2 has natural light and has telephone and Internet, the capacity is of 10-12 people in table imperial type.
