About El Salmon

Owned and operated by three friends with a love of travel, the El Salmon philosophy is simple: to offer a clean, safe and fun environment, where people can make new friends, party AND get a good, quiet night's sleep (the dorms and bedrooms are far from the common areas).

El Salmon combines the lowest rates in Buenos Aires with everything a good hostel should be: clean and new (renovated top to bottom, summer 2009), free internet, free breakfast, lots of communal space (kitchen/dining room, TV room, open rooftop terrace with BBQ), self-service washing machine, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Centrally located in the historic San Telmo district, there are cafes, markets, and popular tourist destinations close by, as well as bars and lounges within stumbling distance.
