It is unbelievable that a place like that exists - it is the last real african beach! And for sure it is for every one who wants to break out of the normal wheel, and come back to the simplicity of life & its natural beauty. Overseeing the Indian Ocean, at the entrance of the famous Mtwapa Water Channel, nearby historical sites & Mangrove gardens, away from the rest of the world, 'The Beach Africa' is hidden and wants to be discovered. Stranded here, those moments of life one spends at the Beach, become timeless...

The Beach Bandas are built in a unique african style, cozy, clean & simple, all with sea view, a mosquito net & paraffin lamp.
Toilets/ Bathroom are communal, clean, and yet still very private.

The Restaurant caters for Vegetarian Travelers and for all those who like fresh grilled seafood or local meat specialties.

The Beach is an ideal overlander-place for travelers on their way to Lamu or Zanzibar. It is an Volunteer meeting point. Activities are offered at site, we are specialized in unique african tours which give an inside of the local African site and life. Karibu ( Welcome) as we say here in Kenya!
