The town, that is named Alessandria after the Pope Alexander III, was a fortress town. The avenues rich in trees that limit the center of the town, represent the outline of the ancient fortification. Over the Tanaro river there is still the fortified city of XVIII Century, with a star-shaped plant expanded in 1859. In the town it is also possible to admire several examples of Baroque style. The Youth Hostel is located in an ancient building in the heart of the town.Reception opening hours: from monday to friday our hostel is opened from 9,00 to 11,30, from 14,30 to 16,30 and from 18,00 to 22,00. Saturday and sunday our hostel is opened from 20,00 to 22,00
