About Ostello di BOSA / Hostel Bosa

The medieval city center of Bosa is dominated by the ruins of the Malaspina Castle, built in 1112, but this gracious town's existence has been documented even father back by a Phoenician inscription from the 9th century B.C. There is also numerous other evidence from the prehistoric era like the Domus of Janas fairy houses and the nuraghi (prehistoric stone houses). Their enchanting location overlooks the sea and the gentle bends of the Temmo river, the only navigable river in Sardinia, leaving a deep imprint that visitors remember well after leaving. Also, there are interesting opportunities for nature-based trips, like guided tours to the last colony of gryphon vultures and scuba-diving outings in a part of the sea that has come to be considered the uncontested kingdom of coral.
