'Home Sweet Home', the pleasure of being on vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the world with the assurance of being received into a comfortable and familiar atmosphere. Located near the historical city centre, in close proximity to many important public services (cable car, Lumbi parking, bus terminal, restaurants, bars, discos, etc.), and adjacent to the bustling street life of the famous Corso Umberto, the B & B 'Sweet Home' offers relaxing rooms whose balconies face the splendid Bay of Taormina and provide stunning views of the blue Ionian Sea from the coast of Calabria to the neighboring green mountains at the top of which you can see the quaint little town of Castelmola! The B & B “Sweet Home” has two comfortable bedrooms. One bedroom has two beds that can become four beds, air conditioning, a television and a private bathroom (toilet and shower). The other bedroom has two beds that can become three beds, air conditioning, a television and a shared bathroom down the hall. Both bedrooms are furnished in a fine Italian classical style. The Greek Theatre is approximately 300 meters away. The cable car station that takes you to the beach is approximately 150 meters away. For those who love walking, the street at the entry of the B & B is a 10-minute walk to the beach. For those who want to stay in town, within walking distance there are many monuments and buildings of all eras to see, and splendid alleys and narrow lanes of typical white stone, with characteristic balconies, that in the evening come to life with lights and sounds. There are little steps that you can climb from the historical centre up to the sanctuary of the Madonna of the Rocca, where you can admire the coast below, gaze down upon the town of Taormina, and enjoy beautiful views of the greatest volcano in Europe: Mount Etna! THE HISTORY OF SICILY LIVES HERE! In the evening, for those who have a sophisticated taste or simply want to experience a typical Sicilian dish, there are numerous restaurants, pizzerias and pubs in walking distance, or there is the possibility of attending a performance at the nearby Greek Theatre. You should not miss walking along the main street where there are innumerable display windows to admire and the beauty of the buildings and public squares to enjoy. You will use your car only for trips outside of the town. From Taormina it is possible to take excursions to interesting places all over the island. The B & B 'Sweet Home' can arrange these excursions for you, and can also offer, upon request, babysitting service. We speak English, German and Danish!
