Terrasse Hostel Ipanema opened in January 2007 with the mission of welcoming independent travellers and backpackers to the heart of Rio de Janeiro's coolest district - Ipanema. We are 20 meters from the beach and we do have the beach view from the hostel.The hostel provides cost-effective and secure accommodation just one block from Ipanema beach - and with a sea view from the dorm rooms.Friendly and knowledgeable multi-lingual staff are on hand round the clock with a warm welcome and all the local information, as well as running trips to all the major tourist attractions, to the Maracana for football fans, and to Rocinha favela. We`d like to invite you to come and stay at our place and make it your home - it`s our home too! Terrasse Hostel is not just a hostel - it`s a place where we work to make your dreams of Rio come true.
