Resort, with 5 homes (2 lakefront bungalows and 3 pavilions), all designed in a modern unpretentious 'Lanna' style, each with own character, widely spaced from each other and surrounded by flower trees to secure privacy and quiet. Ideal as your refuge to escape from the city for a while, as your holiday retreat on the countryside only 15 minutes away from town, or as your base camp to explore the north of Thailand.You may reach Baan Sammi easiest by car, taxi or motorbike, but also by public transport (song-thaeo, tuk-tuk). A detailed illustrated route description is available, along with a map, for your ease. From Baan Sammi, you may hire a motorbike, which can be at your disposal as early as your arrival time at airport, train or bus station in Chiang Mai. Further, we can arrange a car with driver for you at a very competitive rate.Each of the brick bungalows has air-conditioned bedroom, living room with fan, fully equipped kitchen, private en-suite bathroom with hot shower. The two-storey wooden pavilions have a bedroom and living room with fan, private or shared bathroom with hot shower, private or shared kitchen. All homes have their own out-door living space with terrace, and a private or shared pier in the resort's big pond, which can be used for fishing, boating and swimming.
