We specialise in welcoming travellers from all over the world with a friendly atmosphere -an excellent hostel ideal for young people and families - El Aleph de San Telmo is the perfect choice.

Located in the heart of the historical centre of the city, a few blocks from Plaza de Mayo, Puerto Madero and Plaza Dorrego, El Aleph offers easy access to transport and connections to other places in Buenos Aires.

The hostel is part of an old building from 1898 in the neighbourhood of San Telmo, one of the biggest attractions of the city. On a narrow street to Belgrano Avenue, El Aleph consists of two flats in the traditional colonial format of 'casa chorizo' where guests can enjoy private and common rooms with plenty of sunlight. Both flats are connected by a corridor and decorated with Art Works by Argentine Artists.

The first apartment has two mixed dorms, and one private double/triple room, and the second one has two double/ triple private rooms and two double private rooms. We do not have private bathrooms in any of the rooms.
Breakfast and internet access are included in the price of the rooms.

The hostel has WIFI connection in all rooms. There is a living room with two PCs with internet connection and audio equipment with almost 1000 CD's, multilingual library, a dining room with TV, Video, DVD and free access to the kitchen. All facilities are accessible to any guest no matter the chosen option.

El Aleph can assist you with organizing or contacting tours around the city or the country as well as Spanish or Tango classes.
