Welcome to berlin Hotel!

This modern European-style hotel was built by the Berlin Red Cross and opened its doors to guests in 1995. Since that time, it has been a favorite of international travellers. There is a unique partnership between the German Red Cross, the adjacent medical polyclinic and this hotel.We are proud to inform you that, except for 3 rooms, we are a non-smoking hotel!

What sets this hotel apart from other local hotels is the renowned art gallery that lines the walls of the halls and the rooms! These paintings and sculptures by local and regional artists provide an exciting opportunity to learn about the Armenian art scene. Not only are these works shown world wide, but you can also purchase a piece to take home with you. A gift shop in the hotel lobby also sells local handcrafted pieces that make wonderful souvenirs for the discriminating tourist!

The Berlin Hotel is conveniently located in the centre of old Gyumri, within walking distance of the historic market, restaurants, museums and ancient churches. The train station is a short 15 minute walk away!

This hotel boasts 10 double rooms and 1 single room, suitable for the business traveller and tourist! We pride ourselves on being a non-smoking hotel! Eight of the double rooms are south-facing, with large windows overlooking the garden. Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, complete with plenty of hot water! All rooms have a television, radio, minibar and work space.

Included in the room price is a continental breakfast, freshly prepared every morning and served in the dining room! Lunch and diner are available upon request. Local Armenian dishes are our specialty and can be complimented with our local wines! Should you choose, you can enjoy your meals in your room, for which there will be a service charge!

The Berlin Hotel has the staff and facilities to plan and implement your business needs and meetings. On and off-site catering is available to enhance your meetings. Please contact the front desk for further information.

Located within a short walking distance of the Berlin Hotel is a new fitness centre for your pleasure and fitness needs! Just check with the front desk for rates!

Moreover, the Berlin Hotel can arrange both individual and group tours of the Shirak region, as well as tours throughout other parts of Armenia. If you require transportation to and/or from Yerevan, those arrangments can be made. Parking is available to those who bring their own vehicle!

Our room rate is negotiable for our long-term guests, members of humanitarian groups and NGO's, families and groups over 6.

If you require us to keep your valuables durng your stay, please contact the front desk. There is no charge for this service but we would ask that you make arrangments in advance to obtain your valuables.

Breakfast 8:00 -10:00 a.m.

A continental breakfast of fresh breads, local cheeses, cold meats, eggs, jam, juice, coffee or tea is available in the dining room.
A seasonal fruitplate, yogurt, cold cereal, omelettes and hot chocolate are available for an extra charge.
