We have a kick backed approach to travellers coming through the area. They can feel safe and at home at all times.

WINTER - SKI OR BOARD RIGHT TO THE BACK DOOR !!! no other hostel has this....and there is no other hostel like this place !!

The Alpenrider chalet, which has its own house bar, is the hub of every traveller coming through the Kirchberg area. The cheapest beers in town and right vibe. This isnt reccomended for people wanting a quite romatic holiday !!! If you want a place that ROCKS...then this is it !!

In winter, this Snow pocket has so many powder stashes for every level. Getting the best runs, the best snow and the least crowds is all about local knowledge. Not many places can you SKI / BOARD TO THE BACK DOOR at the end of a winters day.
All your ski, board, jackste, pants and helmets can be organised upon your arrival so that you are ready to rock at 8.30am when the lifts open. Dont loose time and money and wait with the tourists !

Alpenrider chalet is in KIRCHBERG, a village 4km from KITZBUHEL. Run by a friendly team, solely catering for Boarders, Skiers and Mountain bikers, that come from all corners of the globe.

We offer the best that Austria has to offer world travelers / Skiers / Boarders and Mountain Bikers.

SUMMER - BIKE TRAILS AND GONDOLAS ARE EASY ACCESS - Partners with bike hire centre

In summer, take on the awesome mountian biking. We can also organise canyoning, paraflying, rockclimbing and rafting tours for the adenaline junkies! We also organise people so that they can get in on any or all of the activities available such as-

*Mountian walks
*City excurions - Salzburg or Innsbruck
*Summer festivals - Kitz Triathlon, Jahrmarket, Harley week, Austrian Tennis Open to name a few
*Great restuarants

We pride ourselves on CLEANINESS and SERVICE to our guests. Keeping our guests with constant warm water, clean rooms and BIG HEARTY BUFFET BREAKFAST (Winter only) has kept people coming back year after year.

In summer, we have a 'self serve' breakfast. There is a free access to the kitchen to help yoursleves to breakfast and eveing meals.

Please note that ALL ROOMS RECIEVE THE BIG BUFFET BREAKFAST (Winter only) included in thier nightly price.

During the winter, Kirchberg, which is 4km from Kitzbuhel, has the upper hand on its wekll known nieghbour. It is in the best position to all the new cable cars that have been built in the last years not to mention the new cable car going up to Westendorfs huge PRO BOARD PARK.

No more getting jipped in Kitzbuhel with crowds, big prices and crap lifts....its time to hit KIRCHBERG where all the young crew are !! Prices are more realistic than the glitz in Kitz but you can still be in Kitz within a few minutes.

Alpenrider can provide your return AIRPORT TRANSFERS from Munich (1.5hrs) and
Salzburg (1hr) at the great rates.

Thats right Munich is only 1.5hrs away, a perfect place to use as your base while the FAMOUS OKTOBERFEST is on. WE SUPPLY TRANSFERS DOWN TO MUNICHor you can use the train (station 2mins walk away) to avoid any delays on the roads that may occur at this time.

* Backpacker Room (WINTER ROOMS) - Mixed dorm rooms with 4 beds -

* Share rooms - spotless huge rooms with nice views (rooms 3,4,5,8) (SUMMER ONLY)

* Double bedrooms without ensuit - big comfy beds (rooms 6 and 7) (SUMMER ONLY)

* Double Bedrooms ensuit shower - for your privacy (room 1 & 2) (SUMMER ONLY)
