About Hotel Congress

The centrally located, comfortable Hotel Congress was built in 1900 as the Hotel Riva, which hosted many royal visits, including Emperor Franz Joseph.

The American Breakfast Buffet is served in the Restaurant vom 6.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.

Drinks are served at the hotel bar from 6.30 a.m. to 2.30 a.m.

The stylish and modern Hotel Congress is located in downtown Vienna, opposite the Main Railway Station (Suedbahnhof) and within 15 minutes walking distance to the old town of the City.

The underground (metro) stop Suedtiroler Platz is located next to the Hotel, within 4 minutes (2 stops) you will reach the Opera House and the Ringstrasse, within 5 minutes (3 stops) you will reach the famous St. Stephan´s Cathedral.

The Messe Wien (Vienna Exhibition Centre) and the Austria center will be reached by public transport within 20 minutes.

Just a few foodsteps away you will find the Schloss Belvedere and the famous Schweizer Garten.

Oposite the hotel, the the longest shopping street of Vienna, the Favoritenstrasse, has its starting point. The uncountable shops and restaurants meet everyone's taste.

In front of the hotel you will also find a few cycle tracks which lead you within a few minutes to the old city as well as to the outlying districts with the green meadows and the quiet forests.
