About Albergue Hostel Ipanema

Hostel Ipanema is located at Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, in a safe residencial street, just three short blocks from Ipanema Beach and next to the best bars, grossery stores, restaurants, stores and nightlife of Rio.

Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Hostel Ipanema is run only by LOCAL NATIVE BRAZILIAN PEOPLE, who speak English and Portuguese and hold a good knowledge of Rio and all its activities.

Easy transportation from and to everywhere, lockers with individual safes in the rooms, very clean and organized, 24 hour internet, wireless connection, fully equiped open kitchen, tours booked thru the hostel like Hang Gliding Tandem Flight, Tour at the Favela, Favela Funk Party, Christ Statue, Sugar Loaf, City Tours, Tijuca Forest Hiking, Samba Shows, Football/Soccer matches at Maracana Stadium, Ilha Grande bookings, Guided Bicycle Tours and many more.

Breakfast not included. However, our kitchen with all available utensils is open to our guests for preparing their own breakfast and meals.

NEW YEAR BOOKINGS from December 29th to January 02nd - 3 nights minimum stay under the special New Year Rate - 30% of the Total Amount is required to be paid before arrival by VISA Credit Card ONLY. Customer has to get in touch with the hostel to provide Visa Credit Card number through our email.
