About Brazil Hostel

BRAZILHOSTEL is situated in Santa Teresa close to the Lapa arches, the liveliest meeting point of Rio de Janeiro.

We are a stone's throw from the heart of the bohemian area of Lapa, near to the coloured tiled stairs of Selaron where Snoop Dogg + other artists have turned up for video clips. Flamengo beach is just a few minutes walk, Copacabana and Ipanema is at 15 minutes by metro.

Santa Teresa, an old residential neighbourhood home to artists and intellectuals is where you can also enjoy the scenic bondinho (tram) running through the heart of the village. Our location, a mile away from the city centre and a short walk, metro/bus ride from Rio's spectacular beaches and major tourist attractions, finds us at the right place for every tourist.
