Our house on the mountainside is situated in Laranjeiras, a residential area of the Zona Sul, with its own distinctive personality.

With its strategic location between the Historical Centre, Lapa, Copacabana and Ipanema, we are only 15 min. away from all main sights and beaches. Down the street you can find shops, banks and supermarkets as well as typical bars and restaurants. The train station to the Cristo Redentor, Corcovado is at no more than 10 min. walking.

Surrounded by exotic plants and flowers, you can relax upon returning from your adventures in our urban beach city and its over 6 million habitants.

The house with cozy living room and terrace is at your disposal. Our pool with breathtaking panoramic view allows you to revive that exotic atmosphere bound to the traveler's hospitality.

We consider ourselves lucky to have found this beautiful house in the middle of Rio. Contrary to most places, we live at the guesthouse and like to share it with our guests.

Feel free to listen to some music, enjoy the sun at the terrace, have a drink or dip at the pool.

It is a pleasure for us helping you to find your way around and discover our beautiful city. We'll make sure that your stay in Rio is an unforgettable experience.

Your hosts:

Roberto: Born and raised in Rio, he's a typical carioca and will help you with all your questions and doubts. He speaks fluent English.

Dirk: He's a Belgian artist, who will give you all the support of the house. He speaks English, French, Dutch and Portuguese.

Our dogs: Max and Ben are mostly outside running and playing. Night is the star of the house. They are all very sweet and are used to having guests around.

Our cat: Zana is a real diva from Brussels and loves lying around the sofas.

The rooms:

The pleasure of resting in comfortable rooms, furnished with all you need on returning from long sunny days in the city or at the beach. Our 6 rooms with personalized decoration: wooden floors, king size bed or two single beds, cable TV, ceiling fan and wardrobe.

WiFi Internet connection is optional.

We have two bathrooms with all the comfort for our guests.

Relaxation:

Our terrace with comfortable sofas and a typical Brazilian hammock is the perfect setting to dream away …

While hummingbirds come flying through you can enjoy the morning sun, take a nap in the afternoon or have a drink at night.

At the pool you can cool down, relax and have a swim while enjoying the breathtaking view of the mountains and the scent of exotic flowers.

. Breakfast, included in our rates, is served between 9h and 11h and includes coffee, tea, fresh juices, fresh rolls, home made cake, cheese, marmalade, yogurt, honey, tropical fruits and our now already famous Vitamina (smoothy).

. Help to find your way around: sight seeing, cultural programs, restaurants, shopping, nightlife ... Do ask for our advice.

.To confirm your reservation, we ask for an additional deposit of 30%.
New Year - min stay of 3 nights: deposit of 50%.
Carnival - min. stay of 5 nights: deposit of 100%.
